– 2021-2023 : PI of Belmont Forum SUSTAINDAM Project on the sustainable management of dams in a context of climate and land use and land cover changes,co-funded by Agence National de la Recherche (ANR, France ; Contract n° 400914/00) implemented in the frame of the Belmont Forum collaborative actions on transdisciplinary research for pathways to sustainability.

– 2016-2021 : PI of CLIMSUCAF project “Climate Services for sustainable production of Sugarcane in Africa” ; Funded by Agence Francaise pour le Développement (AFD) ;Memorandum de Dialogue Stratégique between AFD and the Government of Côted’Ivoire.

– 2015-2020 : co-PI of AMMA-2050 (a UK/NERC-DFID joint initiative on “Future Climate for Africa”).

– 2014-2016 : Member of ANR ACASIS project on Sahelian Heat Waves and their impacts funded by Agence Française pour le Développement (AFD).

– 2013-2016 : Co-PI (France) of the Project RHYVA on Hydro-meteorological Risks in African Cities (funded by the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs).

– 2007-2012 : Head of RIPIECSA program (3.500.000 Euros from French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development) to fund and ensure the overall coordination of 25 research projects on climate-environment-society interactions inWest and Central Africa.

– 2002-2007 : Contribution to the coordination and to the implementation AMMA International Program (African Monsoon Multidisciplinary Analyses) as member of the International Executive Committee and support to the involvement of African scientists, Regional centers and National Meteorological and Hydrological Services in this international program (co-chair of AMMANET Network).
