Are there more or fewer (than before) permanent positions in academic research in France? What is the average age of recruitment? What are the different possibilities offered by our public employers (organizations and universities)? The integration of PhD graduates into academic research in France is a key issue, as this population represents the research lifeblood of the future. Being recruited into the academic field after completing a thesis generally requires time and the ability to find one's way in a complex ecosystem with rules that are sometimes implicit. The aim of this seminar is to provide you with some key figures and advice to guide you in your professional project. To answer your questions, we will have around the table IGE colleagues with knowledge of the specific ecosystem of each organization.
