Integrating Multiple Sensor Remote Sensing and In-Situ Observations to Reveal Ice-Sheet and Glacier Vulnerability from Local to Global Scale

vendredi 12 janvier 2024 - 13h30

---
In this presentation, I will discuss how the use of multi-sensor remote sensing data, combined with airborne geophysical measurements and ground observations, are key to provide crucial measurements of the evolution of glaciers and ice sheets. I will present several examples, both at local and global scales, that will highlight a new perspective on ice dynamics, with fine degrees of temporal and spatial resolution. I will  discuss the potential of these methods to enhance our understanding of the future evolution of glaciers and ice sheets, particularly in terms of water resources, ice/ocean interactions, and their contribution to sea level rise.
